Within the Department of Health and Social Care, full-time employment is the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. As a Social Services Case Officer, you will meet people, conduct investigations, and make decisions according to the Social Services Act. We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, and has a good ability to collaborate. Are you interested? Then we welcome your application!

The unit for Social Psychiatry Ordinary Housing is divided into two sub-units. Each sub-unit employs 10 case officers and one team leader.

We are currently seeking replacements for two of our case officers. The positions are temporary contracts for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

There is also a unit manager for both sub-units. The unit is responsible for measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). Our target group consists of persons with psychiatric and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities.

Our workplace is located in the heart of central Uppsala in the new City Hall, with excellent commuting options. You will work in bright, modern premises and choose your workspace based on the tasks you are performing. We offer the opportunity to work from home a few days per week.

Description of Duties
As a Social Services Case Officer, you will receive applications, investigate needs, make decisions, and follow up on your cases in close contact with the user, relatives, and others in the user's network. The work is varied and includes home visits, office work, and visits to psychiatric departments. You have the freedom to plan and structure your days yourself, which requires independence and a sense of responsibility. The work is both complex and challenging, but with us, you will become part of an engaged team with supportive colleagues who share knowledge and experiences. Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in Social Work, a degree from the Social Care Program, or a behavioral science education with social law. To succeed in this role, it is beneficial if you have experience with case handling.

The job requires good oral and written skills in Swedish.

You work well with other people, relating to them in an attentive and smooth manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. You plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently. You set and adhere to timeframes.
