We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with calculation experience!

Tikab is currently seeking an experienced designer for our Mechanical Design and Calculation department, with a focus on calculation and design within infrastructure, railway, or power industry.

About the role:

You will join a competent and family-like team where you will work broadly with mechanical design and structural analysis. In this role, you will drive your own client assignments in parallel with larger projects alongside specialists with extensive experience in mechanics and calculation.

The work involves:

• Design/problem solving supported by 3D-CAD and creation of manufacturing documentation
• Structural calculations and analysis using FEM, MBS, and CAD tools
• Ongoing contact and alignment with clients
• Contributing to scouting for new technology and developing internal work methods

We currently work on projects primarily for industrial clients and other consulting firms with technology-intensive assignments in infrastructure, rail transport, and the power industry. Qualifications:

You should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as a designer. Experience in infrastructure, railway, or power industry is preferred
• Documented practical experience in calculation using Ansys or equivalent systems
• Very good skills in 3D-CAD and drawing creation
• Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Merits:

• Previous experience in the consulting industry
• Class B driver's license
