Shape the future with us as a Surveyor
As a surveyor, you will work independently or with colleagues on several projects in parallel. There are several colleagues in both Skellefteå and Umeå, and there is good collaboration between them.
The role includes responsibility for surveying in projects:
- Development of construction models and setting-out data
- Quantity surveying and compensation regulations
- Surveying (in-situ measurement)
- Setting out for execution of work, as well as reviewing drawings and other construction documents
- Documentation, e.g., compliance with surveying programs and control surveys
- Creating relational documents, as well as responsibility for maintenance of surveying/data equipment
- Supporting the production and project manager in regulation matters
- Working with machine control, GPS, and traditional setting out
Contribute with your expertise and take surveying to the next level
We are looking for someone who is meticulous and works in a structured and quality-conscious manner. We see that you have good collaboration skills and a curious and positive attitude. We want to be at the forefront of surveying technology; therefore, we would like you to have an interest in driving surveying forward, identifying areas for improvement, and having good problem-solving skills.
We believe you have a post-secondary technical education, preferably in surveying, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience. Experience as a surveyor in road and construction projects is an asset.
For this role, you need:
- Theoretical and practical experience in surveying
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Very good IT skills
- Class B driver's license
Knowledge of SBG GEO, AutoCad, Leica, and surveying using drone technology is an asset. Knowledge of AMA/MER is also an asset.
