Do you want to help develop the future of municipal health and medical care?

Now you have the opportunity to take a key role in creating secure, modern, and high-quality rehabilitation.

We are seeking a Medically Responsible Person for Rehabilitation (MAR) for a new position where you will help shape both the content and the working methods.

About the Assignment

As an MAR, you have overall responsibility for quality and patient safety within the rehabilitation area. The role is both strategic and operational, involving close collaboration with department heads, unit managers, licensed occupational therapists, and physiotherapists within municipal home health care, as well as functions such as MAS (Medically Responsible Nurse) and other quality functions.

The MAR assignment covers approximately 50% of the position. The remaining part focuses on preventive work, methodological support, development, and follow-up, with a special emphasis on analysis, results, and a health-promoting perspective.

Your Role

You will hold a central position with significant influence, combining strategic work with proximity to operations. You will actively contribute to development and systematic improvement work in line with the transition to "Close Care" (Nära vård) and a more preventive approach. The work is also linked to national initiatives such as "Life to the Years" (Liv till åren).

In this role, you will, among other things:

  • Have overall responsibility for quality, patient safety, and development within rehabilitation, in close collaboration with MAS
  • Develop, follow up, and quality-assure guidelines, routines, and working methods
  • Support managers and employees in rehabilitation issues as well as in complex assessments and prioritizations
  • Analyze deviations and drive systematic improvement work
  • Work preventively to strengthen function, independence, and quality of life for municipal residents
  • Participate in and drive development and project work
  • Plan and implement training initiatives
  • Analyze statistics and other data for follow-up and development
  • Collaborate locally, regionally, and to some extent nationally within the rehabilitation area
  • Follow developments in rehabilitation and assistive devices and contribute to the implementation of new working methods
  • Collaborate with welfare technology to develop digital solutions within care and social services

You will also be part of regional and national MAR networks as well as the regional MAS/MAR network.

About the Position

This is a new position that will be evaluated after one year. The content of the assignment may subsequently be adjusted based on the needs of the operations, experiences from the start-up, and any national changes regarding the distribution of responsibilities between MAR, MAS, and the department head for Health and Social Care (HSL).

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A licensed occupational therapist or licensed physiotherapist
  • Has several years of experience working in rehabilitation, preferably recent
  • Has good knowledge of municipal health and medical care
  • Has experience with quality and improvement work
  • Has a good understanding of legislation within HSL and patient safety
  • Is accustomed to working with follow-up, analysis, and statistics

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Education in quality and improvement knowledge
  • Experience working in a leading or strategic role
  • Previous experience as an MAR or in a similar function
  • Experience in change management or development work
  • Knowledge of welfare technology and digital working methods

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

  • Are confident in your profession
  • Have the ability to work both strategically and operationally
  • Are analytical and structured
  • Have good collaboration skills and can build trust within the organization
  • Are pedagogical and can support, guide, and inspire others
  • Are driven by development, quality, and improvement work
