The Care Administration operates on the value foundation that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. The administration includes IFO, LSS activities, social psychiatry, healthcare, home care, and special housing. Approximately 800 employees work here, available around the clock for our target groups.

Job Responsibilities

As an hourly substitute, you will be employed by the Staffing Unit and work within the Care Administration's operations where the need for substitutes is greatest, which currently mainly concerns the outer areas. You will initially be introduced at one workplace, but there is an opportunity to work at several workplaces based on needs and your own wishes. Work is planned via the staffing system Time Care Pool, where you register your availability yourself. Direct booking applies, making it important that your availability is always up to date. In case of urgent needs, requests may also be sent via SMS with short notice.

Work shifts vary in length, and working hours cover day, evening, and night, meaning you must be able to work inconvenient hours.

Work can be performed in both home care and special housing (SÄBO). In home care, you work independently or together with colleagues, visiting users in their own homes. There, you support with personal care such as dressing and undressing, assistance with meals and hygiene, and participate in social activities. The work is varied and adapted to the user's individual needs and decisions.

In special housing, you work with service and care around the clock for users living in their own rooms. You provide support in daily living, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues, and assist with personal care, meals, and hygiene. The work is characterized by creating security, dignity, and good quality of life for every individual.

Qualifications

The core of our operations is care, and a good attitude is of utmost importance. You have a genuine interest in working with people and a desire to make a difference in their lives and daily routines.

The work requires that you can collaborate with others, are attentive, and act with great respect towards those you meet in all different situations. Working with people always means that unpredictable situations can arise, and you are a person who can maintain your calm when the situation demands it. You have a respectful attitude and always strive for the best possible encounter.

We are looking for someone who is of legal age, responsible, and possesses personal maturity. It is important that you are confident in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you are a qualified assistant nurse or have previous experience of similar work.

Basic computer skills are a requirement. Work in home care and special housing can involve inconvenient working positions and movements, so you should have the physical fitness to handle this. A B-class driver's license and the ability to cycle are requirements for home care.
