We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a summer temporary position.

About the role
You are the hub of the residents' health and medical care initiatives, working to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure high quality in the operations.
Collaboration and support
You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you can provide the best possible life for every resident. In this, you work closely with the facility's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work alongside the teams in daily operations.
Getting to know the residents
Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical condition is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions.
Clear routines
To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easily accessible routines, guidelines, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading.
About Ekbacken
Ekbacken is located in the new area of Måmyren, approximately 3.5 km from central Mora. The facility is situated beautifully in a western slope with proximity to water, just north of Mora Hospital, with easy access to transportation and a shopping center.
Meals are prepared in the ward kitchens, contributing to a home-cooked feeling. The building is close to forests and green areas, providing opportunities for outdoor activities in the immediate vicinity.
Ekbacken is a bright and fresh ground-floor facility with 32 apartments, distributed across four living units. The living units are focused on dementia care.
Your experience and knowledge
You are a licensed nurse, and we prefer that you have worked for a few years within elderly care. Our residents are often multi-sick, which requires that you have both general knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging human being. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
