Production Manager – Caterpillar (Zeppelin Sweden)

As a Production Manager, you will be part of the site management team, responsible for planning, leading, and reporting on daily production activities. You will report to the Site Manager and, together with your fellow Production Managers, ensure optimized planning. You will also continuously work on improving workshop workflows as part of your responsibility for operational results.

The role involves shift work. As a Production Manager, you hold personnel and work environment responsibility for your shift team, consisting of approximately 14 mechanics. You will serve as the customer's primary contact for incoming and ongoing jobs, making excellent service and relationship management a key part of your duties. Safety is a top priority. You will be responsible for ensuring and monitoring that procedures and regulations are followed, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Experience

  • High school diploma, preferably with a focus on technology.
  • Experience working with heavy machinery is a requirement; previous leadership experience is preferred.
  • High technical competence with a strong interest in people and machines.
  • Experience working directly with customers is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Excellent Swedish language skills, both written and spoken, are required.
  • Due to our international environment and English service literature, good English skills are necessary.
  • A valid Class B driver's license is required.
