We are now looking for a competent and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer who wants to be part of our team and lead several R&D projects. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative mechanical systems.

In the role:

• Design and development of mechanical systems from prototype to production-ready design, with high demands on performance, reliability, and efficiency.

• Guide and support junior engineers, provide technical direction, and contribute to good collaboration within the team.

• Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure successful delivery.

• Conduct thorough analyses and tests of mechanical systems to verify performance and ensure that the solution complies with relevant industry standards.

• Collaborate with other teams to integrate the mechanical design with other system components.

Your profile:

• You have documented experience in designing and developing mechanical systems.

• You are proficient in CAD software and other design and analysis tools, such as Fusion 360, Siemens NX, or Catia, in a product development environment.

• You have experience with GD&T, PLM systems, and established practices related to this.

• You have experience in design for manufacturing.

• You prefer to work in teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment with clear deadlines.

• You have strong problem-solving skills and are detail-oriented.

• You have good social skills and can collaborate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

• You have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with design requirements related to sheet metal forming, injection molding, and manufacturing of cable harnesses.

• Experience in mechatronics.

• Experience in leading and coaching an engineering team, with good leadership skills and strong communication abilities.

• Experience in the development of battery systems and/or high voltage systems (high voltage electronics).

• Experience with systems related to renewable energy.
