Are you analytical and technically skilled, and looking for a role where you have significant influence on projects? We are currently seeking a VENT Estimator for a stable company that has experienced steady growth over several years and continues to expand.

About the Role

As a VENT Estimator with us, you will work in the early stages of projects. Your primary responsibility is to produce precise estimates and technical system solutions based on A-drawings and preliminary specifications, primarily within turnkey contracts.

Since you will often work with incomplete documentation, you are expected to make qualified assumptions and independently design ventilation systems and technical solutions before quantifying and pricing the work.

You will also serve as a crucial link during the design phase, contributing an estimation perspective and influencing system selection, airflow, and technical solutions through dialogue with designers and consultants to ensure functionality, quality, and profitability.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and technical ventilation solutions in early project stages
• Make qualified assessments and design system layouts when documentation is incomplete
• Quantify and price your own system solutions
• Participate in and influence the design process based on estimation parameters
• Ensure cost-effective solutions that meet client requirements
• Manage contacts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Oversee the entire tender process – from request to final bid

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience as an estimator within the ventilation sector
• Strong technical understanding and ability to size ventilation systems
• Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, and estimation software (e.g., Wikells)
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

Advantageous:

• Background as a ventilation designer, consultant, or project manager
• Engineering education
