Project Manager – Regional Properties

The Regional Area West Properties Construction and Management has customer responsibility, acts as the representative for the property owner in matters concerning the region's property portfolio, and supplies the region's operations with premises. The Unit Regional Properties, which is part of West Properties Construction and Management, is responsible for the management of the region's nature reserves, folk high schools, offices, cultural properties, the Botanical Garden, and the Alingsås Laundry.

The unit is also responsible for several ongoing and planned new construction projects on our properties within the role, primarily in Gothenburg, Uddevalla, Alingsås, Borås, and Svenljunga. The unit employs property managers, project managers, project coordinators, technical coordinators, and technical managers. The unit is led by a property manager and currently consists of 16 people.

About the Role

As a Project Manager with us at the Unit Regional Properties, you will act as the client's representative and drive investment projects, maintenance projects, reinvestment projects, and tenant adaptations in various stages. You are responsible for the preparation of estimates, tenders, design, procurement, call-offs, handover, and follow-up of projects within the established budget, time, and content. Projects are developed on all property objects within the Unit Regional Properties, with a primary focus on Regionens Hus in Gothenburg and Alingsås Laundry. Within the unit, you will work closely with your colleagues based on the different stages of the projects.

You will be based at Regionens Hus in Gothenburg, but since we have operations throughout the region, travel is part of the job. Where possible, we prioritize public transport for travel.

What do you need to bring with you?

We are looking for someone with a university degree or civil engineering degree in civil engineering, or other education/experience that we consider equivalent.

You have experience in leading and executing construction projects and property management-related issues, and you are accustomed to further developing properties. Furthermore, you have experience in the role of a work leader, project manager, or have worked with property development.

You are engaged, communicative, and have good collaboration skills. To succeed in the role, you need good strategic and analytical skills, as well as the ability to prioritize well and focus on the right things. For your work to benefit everyone, it is important that you can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable and experienced with oral presentations. You are action-oriented and have a systematic working method. A B-class driver's license is a requirement for the position.

The Recruitment Process
