Building and maintaining roads and infrastructure is significant. Contributing to societal development is even greater. With us, you can do both. We are now looking for a land and construction worker for our construction projects within the operations division in Skövde. At Svevia, we combine the community and team spirit of a small company with the stability of a large corporation. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop as a road specialist - with commitment, collaboration, and responsibility.

Your mission as a land and construction worker

For our operations in Skövde, we are now looking for a self-driven colleague to work on construction projects. The size and type of projects vary, giving you great opportunities to be creative in your role and work solution-focused to reach the end goal. With us, you will have the chance to work on various projects for both municipal and state operations, where we operate within the framework of AB04 and ABT06.

You will, together with your colleagues, focus on land and construction work, such as paving, excavation, pipe laying, construction of pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as road reinforcements. We are looking for a colleague who takes a leading role in the work and takes responsibility for moving our projects forward. Since a large part of your daily work involves outdoor activities, this is something you enjoy.

In this role, you will have customer dialogues as a natural part of your daily routine, as well as seeing opportunities to expand and prolong our projects.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in construction work who is self-driven in their tasks. You have previous experience in taking responsibility and act to provide the customer with good results based on their requirements.

  • A B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, are required for the position.

  • A vocational education in road/construction and a C driver's license are meritorious, but not mandatory.

  • Experience and certification in APV are also meritorious.

In your professional role, Svevia requires the ability to maintain and create good customer relationships.

The position is full-time and you will be based in Skövde. The job may include on-call duty and work during inconvenient hours. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting. Start date according to agreement.

Part of something bigger

Svevia is currently Sweden's largest maintenance contractor. In maintenance and upkeep, we handle summer and winter road maintenance for half of the state road network. Many municipalities, private companies, and road associations hire us to take care of their roads and outdoor environments.

With us, you contribute to a larger whole. We plow for the family heading to the mountains. We ensure that the business's goods transport reaches its destination and make sure that streets, squares, and parks are clean and tidy. Additionally, we protect lives on the road through our offering in traffic arrangements.

Why Svevia?

With us, you quickly become part of the team, and we care about being a workplace for everyone. Decision-making paths are short, and it's easy to make your voice heard. At the same time, you become part of a practical reality and a company where concrete results are created with steaming asphalt machines, large snowplows, and tons of rebar and concrete. With your professional skills, you can make a difference on the road. And we always prioritize safety - both with care for your own work environment and the safety of others.

For those who want to take the next step in their development, there are many opportunities. Whether you want to deepen your expertise in your specific area or move on to a supervisory position. Together, we make cities and countryside function. Do you want to share the road with us?
