We are looking for a Construction Leader Signal (Maintenance Engineer VGV) for the Swedish Transport Administration.

The assignment is a full-time consultancy position based in Trollhättan or Gothenburg, with the possibility of some remote work.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role of Construction Leader Signal involves providing technical support in signal technology and contributing to the monitoring and analysis of faults, disturbances, and maintenance within the railway infrastructure. The work is carried out in close cooperation with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders, focusing on ensuring the status and function of the infrastructure within the framework of the basic maintenance contract.

Responsibilities

Act as technical support for the Swedish Transport Administration's project managers within the framework of the BAS contract for railways

Support both internal and external stakeholders with local and regional knowledge of the Swedish Transport Administration's operations, facility permits, and needs

Discuss technical solutions with contractors and collaborate with contractors within the framework of the BAS contract for railways

Order and control maintenance work of the basic contract.

Participate in team meetings approximately once a month

Participate in and lead production technical meetings

Attend other meetings as needed

The assignment includes transferring knowledge to employees

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Driver's license B.

At least 3 years of work experience (as a construction leader or in a supervisory role such as production manager, site manager, or equivalent in construction/infrastructure projects) in the relevant technical area (Construction Leader Signal railway). Work experience should not be older than 10 years.

Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area.

You must have completed BASÄSKYDD.

Basic training in signal BSG1 and BSG2 or equivalent training.

At least 4 years of work experience as a signal technician, and the resource must have had SISÄ authorization.
