Medical Secretary at the Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology (CFOG) Västerbotten

The Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology (CFOG) Västerbotten is a regional organization with approximately 250 employees, where units from the three hospitals in the region collaborate. CFOG has a working method with a regional process orientation, and the hospitals in the region share responsibility for ensuring that people in Västerbotten have access to good care in obstetrics and gynecology.

CFOG in Umeå consists of specialist maternity care, delivery, postpartum care, postpartum outpatient care, gynecological outpatient care, gynecological surgery, tumor surgery, and robotic surgery. The assignment includes basic healthcare, normal pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, delivery, and fetal diagnostics within its own healthcare area.

We are now looking for a medical secretary for a fixed-term employment. As a medical secretary with us at CFOG, you will be part of a well-functioning team where we care for each other. We utilize the staff's competencies and provide space to grow within their professional roles.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a medical secretary with us, you provide important service and enable efforts that impact many.

Your tasks include diagnosis classification, data and statistics processing, as well as referral and mail handling. Other tasks may include contributing administrative support within the clinic. Working with us involves collaboration with various professional groups, and you will participate in development and improvement work.

Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, during the day. There is an opportunity to work some hours remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary or healthcare administrator. You who are nearing the end of your medical secretary training are also warmly welcome to apply.

Experience in diagnosis classification is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have experience or knowledge in IT and system administration. Information and communication are significant parts of the job, and you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language.

As a person, you are structured and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
