Project Manager Production Norrbotniabanan

We are now launching the major contracts for the Norrbotniabanan project on the stretch between Umeå and Skellefteå. Therefore, we are strengthening our team with experienced project managers who, together with other skilled colleagues, will drive the construction of Norrbotniabanan.

The role of project manager is a key position where you are responsible for the planning and execution of our contracts. You lead and distribute the work within the project and are responsible for the progress of the sub-project towards set goals. You will have the support of project engineers, construction managers, and controllers, as well as technical specialists. An important part of the job is to monitor time, cost, content, and quality aspects, while another part is to create a good and productive work environment within your project. The position is dynamic and also involves a lot of collaboration with external stakeholders, such as municipalities, contractors, and the County Administrative Board. Here you will have the opportunity to follow a large project for several years, together with a close-knit team, and face exciting complex issues.

We are looking for someone who

• has several years of current and relevant experience in a leadership role, such as project manager or equivalent, in infrastructure projects where you have been responsible for planning and monitoring time, cost, and content
• has a university/college education of at least 180 credits (120 points) with a focus on construction and civil engineering or urban planning, or other education combined with experience that we assess as equivalent
• has current knowledge and/or experience in contract law in one or more areas of AB/ABT/ABK and AMA
• has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• has a valid driver's license for passenger cars

It is advantageous if you

• have experience in a leadership role in larger complex construction projects
• have experience working in a client role
• have good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form
• have experience working with environmental issues in projects
• have experience working with workplace safety issues in projects
