We are looking for a project manager for the railway to the Norrbotniabanan within the Swedish Transport Administration.

The assignment is a consultancy position based in Umeå or Luleå, with the possibility of remote work. The position is 60–80 %.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The project manager acts as a resource consultant in coordination projects within a larger railway program focusing on structure, uniformity, and quality in document management. The role involves leading and managing projects in close collaboration with the client, ensuring correct documentation management throughout the lifecycle, and being responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating the project's content, time, and budget.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and follow up on projects within the Norrbotniabanan regarding time, cost, and content, and, in consultation with the project manager, decide on changes within these areas.

Ensure a uniform structure and correct lifecycle management of documentation throughout the document chain in systems such as ProjectWise, with a good understanding of planning, design, and implementation phases.

Plan, lead, and follow up on the project process and act independently within given frameworks in close collaboration with the client.

Report to the client and be responsible for notification management towards external parties and suppliers.

Coordinate design work, specialists, and other projects, and represent the project in meetings with suppliers and external stakeholders.

Be responsible for risk management, including identification, analysis, and actions to minimize risks within the project assignment.

Contribute to good relationships with stakeholders and the public and participate in dialogue with external stakeholders.

Work with document management and project control in the Project Portal and ProjectWise.

Requirements (Mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish both orally and in writing.

Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Driver's license B.

At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager in the relevant technical field (General Railway Project Manager). The work experience should not be older than 10 years.

Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area.

You must have completed BASÄSKYDD.

Requirement of at least 3 years of work experience as a project manager from projects with multiple contractors or infrastructure types or clients where the coordination function has been an essential part of the assignment. The work experience should not be older than 10 years.

Have completed training to function as the Client's construction work environment coordinator, BAS-P and BAS-U.

Desirable

You have been responsible for planning, implementation, and handover of documents in all phases from projects with >500 MSEK in total turnover. The work experience should not be older than 15 years.
