About the AssignmentYou will support the physical integration of combat system components on a designated ship platform in a technically advanced defense environment. The role combines system understanding, installation data, and close collaboration with engineering teams and suppliers.
You will initially work alongside experienced engineers and build knowledge of the project setup, interfaces, and installation data flows. Over time, you will take greater ownership of safeguarding the project’s installation data and helping ensure that information released to the database is accurate, complete, and aligned with the overall design.
Job Description- Enable the physical integration of combat system parts within a ship platform.
- Review supplier information before releasing it to the AVEVA/Engineering/TAGS database.
- Identify discrepancies in installation data and clarify them with the project’s Technical Authority or directly with suppliers.
- Protect the project’s installation data interests throughout the engineering process.
- Read, review, and interpret complex electrical wiring diagrams.
- Collaborate closely with core project members and exchange knowledge with experienced engineers in related projects.
- 3-7 years relevant experience
- Formal degree in Engineering or equivalent acquired from work experience
- Experience with cable dimensioning, matching cables/conductors from a cable catalogue with supplier/customer requirements
- Experience with working in integrated project teams
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Comfortable reading, reviewing and understanding complex electrical wiring diagrams
- High attention to detail while keeping an eye on the full picture
- Ability to share information clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to complete tasks independently
- Ability to pass security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship not permitted)
- Experience from CMS/FCS products
- Experience in the naval domain or defense industry
- Experience in ship design, especially power, HVAC and outfitting
- Experience in working with AVEVA/Engineering/TAGS
- Experience in working on a higher-level system hierarchy
- Permanent employment at Avaron AB
- Occupational pension (4.5% up to 7.5 IBB, 30% above)
- Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year
