We are now looking for a GIS specialist in IT for a consulting assignment where you will work with advanced geodata and contribute to the development of Sweden's critical energy infrastructure.

This assignment is suitable for you who have solid experience with the ArcGIS platform and want to work in a technically advanced environment with large datasets and complex systems.

About the assignment

The organization handles large amounts of geodata in SQL Server and uses ESRI's ArcGIS platform in combination with FME to manage and develop the transmission network. They are now seeking reinforcement for the agile GIS team responsible for both the management and further development of GIS solutions.

You will work closely with other IT functions, projects, and the business, focusing on developing, configuring, and ensuring stable operation of the GIS systems.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

Manage existing GIS applications

Further develop systems and solutions through technical requirement specification

Configure applications and services in ESRI's platform

Provide support to internal and external users

Collaborate with other IT management and operations organizations

Participate in testing when developing new solutions

Handle incidents and participate in troubleshooting

Update and maintain system documentation

Requirements

To be considered for the assignment, you need to have:

At least 5 years of relevant work experience in GIS and IT

At least 5 years of experience working with ESRI's platform (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server)

At least 3 years of experience configuring applications within ESRI, such as Survey123 and Experience Builder

At least 1 year of experience working with site/hub in ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online

Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable experience

It is an advantage if you also have:

Experience with Python in a production environment

Experience with structured code (modules/packages), error handling, and testing

Experience with version control, such as Git

Location: Sundbyberg
