Welcome to us

Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.

Our part of the city is located between the lakes Drevviken and Magelungen. Here, the Farsta district administration employs 1,400 dedicated staff who now need a new colleague. With us, you are close to both the subway and commuter trains, shops, and restaurants. And close to a swim in the summer and long-distance skating in the winter.

Do you want to help build a new dementia-focused short-term department and contribute to safe, person-centered, and high-quality care?

We are now looking for a dedicated and responsible nursing assistant for Edö care and nursing home.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work in an organization where quality, collaboration, and respect for individual needs are at the center. The short-term department is aimed at people with dementia who need temporary care and support.

Edö care and nursing home is beautifully located by Lake Magelungen in Farsta strand, just a few minutes' walk from the subway and commuter trains. The care and nursing home currently consists of 107 places, of which 8 departments are for people with dementia and 4 departments are somatic. In 2019, the organization received a Star Award.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work with:

  • Person-centered care based on the implementation plan
  • Support in daily activities and social stimulation
  • Documentation according to applicable legislation SOL
  • Collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals
  • Contact with relatives and close ones

You are an important part of the team and actively contribute to creating a safe and meaningful stay for our residents.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a trained nursing assistant and has a protected professional title.
  • Has at least 3 years of experience in elderly care, specifically in dementia care. Experience in short-term care is an advantage.
  • Has good computer skills and is comfortable with digital documentation.
  • Has a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
  • Is responsible, flexible, and has good collaboration skills.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We offer

  • The opportunity to be involved from the start.
  • A dedicated team and close leadership.
  • Professional development in the field of dementia.
  • A workplace where quality and work environment are prioritized.

Do you want to help develop the future of short-term care with us?
