Welcome to Rinkeby Care and Nursing Home

Rinkeby Care and Nursing Home opened in 2023 and consists of 10 units with 9 apartments per unit.

Two of these are short-term units. The operations will gradually expand with care and nursing places within dementia and somatic care.

We are now looking for two occupational therapists who want to help continue developing safe and secure care at both the short-term unit and other units. Together, we build a common value base, where a person-centered approach, clear goals, responsiveness, and professionalism are very important.

Your role as an occupational therapist

As an occupational therapist, you will work in a team in close collaboration with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff. Your role as an occupational therapist includes both independently and together with colleagues and other professional categories being responsible for activity and functional assessments, assistive device prescriptions, fall prevention, documentation, as well as guidance and training of care staff. You will work with both short-term care and nursing care.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed occupational therapist.
• has experience working in elderly care.
• has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

We prefer that you have a rehabilitative perspective and a strong interest in the elderly. We want you to be resilient, responsible, and flexible. You have good collaboration skills, are service-oriented, have a strong commitment, and enjoy working independently. We value personal qualities and your attitude that working in elderly care is an important mission rather than experience in the profession.

Other

You will be employed within Järva Elderly Care with a primary placement at Rinkeby Care and Nursing Home. Since we work in a common organization, work may also occur at other units within Järva Elderly Care based on the needs of the operations.

Working hours are from 07:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
