Your Mission

Nacka Senior Center is a meeting place for seniors and the municipal alternative for elderly care in Nacka municipality. Our four senior centers are located in Ektorp, Finntorp, Saltsjöbaden, and Saltsjö-Boo, and all residences have both a somatic and a dementia department. All residences offer social activities, care, and have fully equipped kitchens. Based on a health-promoting approach, we create a safe and secure environment where participation and the individual needs for quality care are guiding all efforts. As a Summer Substitute

As a summer substitute at Nacka Senior Center, your work centers around ensuring that the elderly can live a dignified life and feel secure. The needs of the clients are always the starting point for our efforts, and we follow their wishes regarding support, care, and nursing. Common tasks as a summer substitute include nursing, administering medication, dressing wounds, light wound care, supervision, and responding to alarms. Documentation is also an important part of your work.

Night shifts are from 21:00 to 07:00.

Your Experience

For this position, you must have:

• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• You must be at least 18 years old
• Experience with night work
• Completed or ongoing education in healthcare

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in elderly care
• Worked with somatic and dementia patients before
• Documentation and computer skills

The work requires good physical condition, as lifting and transfers are involved.

We Offer

As a summer substitute at Nacka Senior Center, you are employed by the Competence Supply Division, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing for care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes. You will have the opportunity to work as a substitute before and after your summer position.
