About Us

Welcome to Marieborg Short-Term and Respite Care, a place where humanity and care are in focus! We strive to create a safe and stimulating environment for our residents, where each individual receives the care and attention they deserve.

The users in the respite care department stay here for one to two weeks in a four-week period, in between they are at home. In the short-term department, users who have recently been in the hospital and are not ready to go home yet, or those whose relatives cannot care for them for a short period, stay.

We value creativity, relationship-building, and collaboration, and we are looking for individuals who are solution-oriented and always strive to improve and innovate.

About the Position

In this role, you will work to create a safe and stimulating environment for our residents, where each day offers new challenges and opportunities for development. As a summer temp, your tasks will include:

• Supporting and assisting our residents in their daily activities.
• Contributing to a positive and pleasant atmosphere through creativity and relationship-building.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
• Identifying solutions and being flexible in your approach.

Upplands Väsby municipality has full-time as the norm in elderly care, which means you can specify the employment rate you wish to work between 75% - 100%.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Training as a nursing assistant or is currently training to become a nursing assistant.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in elderly care, especially short-term and respite care.
• Ongoing studies to become a nurse.
