Summer Job Night Patrol in Nacka

Your Mission

The night patrol performs home care services for clients in their private homes at night from 10:15 PM to 7:30 AM. You will work in a team with colleagues, and it is extremely important to keep in mind that it is the client's wishes and needs that guide your work. The night patrol also responds to incoming alarms from Nacka's clients at night, and you will always work in pairs, which means you will also be a support to your colleague when unforeseen caregiving situations arise. Quick and correct action may be required, so you must be confident in your role and able to remain calm.

We are a car-based home care service, and all cars are equipped with GPS and depart from Sofiero Senior Center in Björknäs. The client's needs are always the starting point for the services, and common tasks include caregiving, supervision, and responding to alarms. Documentation is also an important part of your work. For this position, you must have:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Experience working in home care or elderly care
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• A B driver's license (manual) and very good driving experience on all road surfaces and in darkness
• An ease in handling technical aids

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Ongoing or completed education in health and care
• Documentation, computer, and system experience
• Proficiency in languages other than Swedish
• Experience with dementia patients
