Air Defense Battalion is Hiring Staff Assistant

The Air Defense Battalion, which maintains readiness and manages the combat units 61st and 62nd Air Defense Battalions and oversees the regiment's conscription training, is now seeking a continuously employed staff assistant to work in the battalion staff.

Main Responsibilities

As a staff assistant within the command and communications section of the battalion staff, you will primarily support and be responsible for the administration of signal protection materials and signal protection documents.

The work may also involve supporting other activities within the staff as needs arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed military basic training with passing grades.
• Holds a B driver's license.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Holds a signal protection certificate.
• Signal protection authorizations: MAAI, MGSI, MGFI, MGGI, and MFG/A.
• Signal protection instructor/key administrator.
• Previous or current employment as GSS/K.
• Driver's license for passenger cars and light terrain vehicles.
• Has previously used signal protection materials, signal protection documents, and communication systems.
• Other relevant training for the position.

Preliminary start date for employment is 2026-07-01 or by individual agreement.

The Air Defense operates on land and is part of the army but often collaborates with the Air Force. The Air Defense monitors the airspace with mobile sensors (such as radar), detects threats, and protects important objects and activities from aerial attacks through combat with missiles. The two air defense battalions included in the operational defense are trained and kept on standby by the Air Defense Regiment.
