Air Defense Battalion is Hiring Group Leaders and Soldiers

The Air Defense Battalion manages the combat units 61st and 62nd Air Defense Battalions and is now continuously seeking employed group leaders and soldiers.

The Air Defense Battalion is in a significant growth period. As a continuously employed GSS at the Air Defense Battalion, you will be placed in the air defense company that manages functions within air defense, command, communication, logistics (supply/maintenance), technology, and ground combat.

HEADQUARTERS AND SUPPLY PLATOON

The Headquarters and Supply Platoon (SoT) is divided into four different groups; the staff group, supply group, air defense repair group, and light company repair group. The different groups are responsible for establishing and servicing the company headquarters, supply provision, and providing technical services and maintenance for the company.

SoT must always be prepared to carry out various types of missions. In addition, capabilities such as ground combat, vehicle service, weapon service, communication service, and other soldier skills are maintained and further developed.

In daily service, the platoon primarily works in its respective groups. This requires that you can work in a team but also take personal responsibility when the situation demands.

We are currently seeking soldiers for the following positions:

• Logistics Soldier
• Supply Group Leader
• Deputy Supply Group Leader
• Vehicle Mechanic
• Air Defense Mechanic

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed military basic training with passing grades

PREFERABLE

• Previous service as GSS/K
• Military driver's license (TLB)
• ADR certificate or FMFG 1000p
• Valid security guard certificate
• Signal protection certificate
• Completed position training for the relevant service

The employment form for continuously employed group leaders or soldiers (GSS/K) has a duration of eight years with the possibility of extension for another four years, totaling 12 years. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period during which physical requirements and a B driver's license requirement will be imposed for continued employment.

Preliminary start for employment is 2026-07-01 or according to individual agreement.

The Air Defense operates on the ground and is part of the army, but often collaborates with the Air Force. The Air Defense monitors the airspace with mobile sensors (such as radar), detects threats, and protects important objects and operations from air attacks through combat with missiles. The two air defense battalions included in the operational defense are trained and kept on standby by the Air Defense Regiment.
