Materiel Maintenance Section

The Materiel Maintenance Section is part of the Logistics Unit at the Air Defense Regiment, Lv 6. The Materiel Maintenance Section performs maintenance on the Armed Forces' ground equipment. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, operational support, technical adaptation, and material investigation. It is carried out both in workshop environments and in field environments.

Main Responsibilities

As GSS/K at the Materiel Maintenance Section, you will primarily work with troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of air defense equipment and communication equipment in both workshop and field environments. You will also carry out activities aimed at maintaining your general soldier skills. The position requires a high level of technical understanding and skill, as well as good initiative and collaboration abilities.

  • Communications Repair Group Leader
  • System Technician Communications
  • System Mechanic Communications
  • Electrical Mechanic
  • Electrical Mechanic Driver
  • System Technician Air Defense

Qualifications

  • Completed military basic training in technical service or logistics with a focus on System Technician or System Mechanic (GU, GMU, VPL)
  • Driver's license B
  • You have at least a two- or three-year upper secondary education in technology or other education/work experience that the employer deems equivalent.

Meritorious

  • Previously employed as GSS/K in a leadership position or system technician.
  • Platoon or group leader trained during military basic training.
  • Experience from workshop-related work as a technician, or other experience that the employer deems equivalent.
  • C / CE driver's license

The employment form for continuously employed group leaders or soldiers (GSS/K) lasts for eight years with the possibility of extension for another four years, totaling 12 years. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period during which physical requirements and requirements for a B driver's license will be set for continued employment.

Preliminary start for employment 2026-07-01 or by individual agreement.
