About the job
Where do you see yourself this summer? By the sea or at Willys? Most people would probably say the sea, which is perfectly fine. But we would love to see you with us at Willys Västervik Södra Järnvägsg this summer!
The position refers to: Summer temporary position with varying hours during the summer of 2026. We would like you to have the opportunity for introduction and extra work during the spring.
Start date: As agreed.
Working hours: You will alternate between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements: We welcome applicants of all ages, but referring to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not hire individuals under 16 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written).
When you work at Willys, you will have a fast-paced everyday life. You will do everything from unpacking goods, working at the checkout, helping our customers, to keeping the store clean and fresh. As a summer employee at Willys, you will quickly take on responsibility and become an important part of the store team that ensures our customers have the best shopping experience every day.
In return, we can promise you will gain experiences – such as in sales and service – that you will benefit from regardless of what you choose to do in the future. Maybe you will stay with us even after the summer?

About you
Willys is constantly growing and developing, and you enjoy doing the same. You are eager to learn new things, like to be challenged, and are driven to take on greater responsibility. It’s also great if you:
- See when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
- It’s an advantage if you have worked in a store or in service, but it’s not a requirement.
- You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more languages than that, so if you do too, that’s a plus!
- You take responsibility for your job, are punctual, and reliable.
- You have the prerequisites and personal qualities that make you suitable to work with us. If you apply for the job, you will take a test that demonstrates this.
