The Procurement Unit has a clear mission: to support, develop, and follow up on the purchasing and procurement processes in the municipality. We work closely with the operations and contribute to creating effective, sustainable, and businesslike purchases.

With us, you will become part of the municipality's procurement unit where we work together on the municipality's purchases and procurements. The unit currently consists of four procurement officers, one contract controller, one buyer, one lawyer at 50 percent, and one procurement manager.

We work closely together in our daily activities and also collaborate with many different operations in the municipality. Together, we contribute to a well-functioning purchasing operation and to gradually developing the municipality's work with procurement and purchasing.

We are now looking for a procurement officer who wants to be part of our team – a role where you will work both operationally with procurements and contribute to the development of the municipality's work with category management.

Your mission

As a procurement officer with us, you will work closely with the operations and lead procurement processes from start to finish. You will provide support and advice throughout the purchasing process – from needs analysis to contract follow-up.

The role also includes contributing to the municipality's work with category management. This involves coordinating work within different purchasing areas and collaborating with other procurement officers within the unit, contract controller, and relevant operations in the municipality's administrations.

In the role, you will among other things:

• lead procurement processes from needs analysis to contract signing
• plan, drive, and execute procurements according to LOU
• provide support to managers and buyers in procurement and purchasing issues
• collaborate with the operations to ensure that procurements meet both needs and regulations
• contribute to the development of the municipality's purchasing work
• participate in the work with category management and purchasing analyses
• help develop and streamline processes and working methods within purchasing and procurement

The role includes both operational procurement and development work within category management. How the division of labor looks can vary over time depending on which procurements and development initiatives are ongoing.

As a procurement officer with us, you will work with procurements in various areas of the municipality and therefore have no fixed categorical area of responsibility. This means you will work with many different types of procurements and develop your skills in several areas.

Requirements for the position

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• have a relevant university degree or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• have knowledge of the regulations regarding public procurement (LOU). We would also like you to have experience working with public procurement.
• work in a structured manner and have an easy time communicating, listening to needs, and building trust in dialogue with various stakeholders.
• have a good ability to coordinate work, create structure, and keep processes together with relevant colleagues and operations.

To obtain employment, a certificate from the Police's criminal record must be presented.
