Your daily life at Greenstep consists of working on assignments for client companies, sparring sessions with your team and team leader, as well as developing your skills. We believe in community, and that is evident in our daily lives and our way of working.

Here is an overview of what your daily life as a Senior Accounting Specialist may look like:

• You have overall client responsibility in your client assignments and are responsible for ensuring the quality of the accounting towards the client. Our client base is broad and includes everything from startups to international corporations.

• You work in a consultative approach with everything from business analyses, accounting, preparation of interim and annual accounts to tax issues.

• You may also be involved in more demanding consulting tasks/assignments depending on the client's needs (e.g., chart of accounts and dimensions structure design, cash flow, DD assistance, consolidation, budgeting, additional reporting).

• Your job description will emphasize communication, advice, and reporting to the client.

• As a senior accounting consultant, you are confident in your own competence and thrive in a role where you mentor your junior colleagues and help them grow in their work.

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in economics and/or accounting. It is a merit if you are an authorized accounting consultant.

• We see that you have at least 5 years of experience in versatile economic and accounting work.

• Previous experience with various systems and an interest in learning new systems, experience with systems such as NetSuite, Fortnox, Capego, and/or Business Central is seen as an asset.

• Several years of experience in independently preparing interim and annual accounts as well as preparing annual reports, tax calculations, and income tax returns.

• Previous experience in a consulting role is a merit.

• The work requires fluent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English.

As a Senior Accounting Specialist, we see that you have a strong knowledge base in bookkeeping, closing accounts, and taxation. We expect you to have the ability to solve problems independently even in challenging situations and to be able to advise our clients on accounting and develop financial management processes.

You are communicative, attentive, and have an easy time building and maintaining client relationships. You thrive in a forward-looking work community where you have the space to develop and improve. You actively contribute new ideas and want to perform financial management work proactively towards the client. We hope that you can be on-site at our office in Alingsås 3 days a week.
