About the role
As a preparation coordinator, you are significant for the court to be able to carry out its important societal task. You will work independently to a large extent, but you will also have many collaborative opportunities where we constantly exchange knowledge and help each other. Together with a dedicated team of case handlers, judges, and clerks, you contribute to ensuring that cases and matters are handled legally and efficiently. Main tasks
As a preparation coordinator, you will:
- Support the clerks and provide legal support to case handlers in the ongoing preparation work
- Be responsible for administrative tasks such as scheduling and planning
- Be responsible for the development of existing working methods
- Introduce and train new colleagues
- Prepare cases for decision and conduct legal investigations
- Participate in negotiations

Requirements
- Legal degree and clerk certification
- Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Interest in leadership and mentoring of others
- Good legal knowledge and strong analytical skills
- Excellent computer skills, including the Office suite and other document management systems
Meritorious
- Experience of qualified legal work at a court, other authority, or in the private sector
About us
With over 100 employees, Växjö District Court is one of Sweden's larger courts. Our organization consists of employees with different competencies, each of whom is significant for maintaining high quality at all levels. The court is continuously working on organizational issues and the development of work methods. The court emphasizes the importance of active employee participation with a focus on responsibility, engagement, and involvement.
The court has four adjudicating departments, two in the general court and two in the environmental court. The general court handles criminal cases, civil cases, and various types of matters.
We share premises with the Administrative Court in Växjö. Together, we are planning to move to a new courthouse building in the autumn of 2026.

Practical information
The position is a permanent position with a six-month initial probationary period. The court applies individual salary setting.
We ask that you in your personal letter motivate what attracts you to work as a preparation coordinator and what you specifically want to contribute.
It is very important that you fill in all fields in the digital application tool and answer the survey questions. Attach a CV where you clearly specify your work experience, the tasks you have had, and employment periods (indicate year, month, and day, for example, from 2020-01-15 to 2020-05-31) as well as percentage of employment.
