Your Responsibilities

You will adapt your teaching to meet the needs of the students and create a safe, inspiring, and structured learning environment. By sparking students' interest in cooking, sustainable choices, and personal finance, you will create an engaging and challenging teaching experience where students develop skills that enhance their ability to make informed choices in everyday life. You will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues, including interdisciplinary collaborations that strengthen students' learning and the school's development.

• Grades 3-6, Brandthovdaskolan, 50% music and 50% leisure or substitute teacher
• Grade 6, Emaus, home economics and textile crafts grades 3-6
• Grades 7-9, Kristiansborgsskolan

Your Qualifications

You are a certified teacher in primary education with qualifications to teach home economics. It is an advantage if you are qualified in additional subjects. You are comfortable using compensatory aids to meet students' needs, and digital tools are a natural part of your teaching.

With a secure pedagogical leadership, engagement, and clarity, you create participation, trust, and good collaboration with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are structured and plan, organize, and prioritize your work while flexibly adapting teaching to students' needs and changing circumstances. Collaboration is a natural part of your work, both in planning and in sharing knowledge and experiences.

Recruitment Process

We have a central and common recruitment process for teachers in primary education. Positions are filled continuously based on the needs of the schools, and the advertisement is regularly updated with available positions. When you submit your application, you will have the opportunity to express your school preferences, and if you proceed after an interview, you can visit the schools that match the current needs.

If you are not a qualified teacher, your application may be forwarded to principals with temporary vacancies.

If you already work as a teacher in our schools but are interested in changing units, you need to apply here. However, you do not need to go through the entire recruitment process.

When you make your application, you fill out a questionnaire and have the opportunity to indicate which school(s) you are interested in. In your application, we ask you to attach:

Additional Information

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must present a valid work permit or be exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
