Backstage Hotel offers a creative environment with rooms, suites, and lofts where guests can see how modern design, music, and art can be woven together into an experience beyond expectations. Adjacent to the hotel are The Visitors Bistro, Backstage Bar, Backstage Brasserie, and Backstage Café.

The hotel is located on beautiful Djurgården, right in the center of events, with several of Stockholm's attractions such as ABBA The Museum, Skansen, and Gröna Lund just around the corner. It takes only 10 minutes to get from downtown Stockholm, and the tram is right next to it.

Backstage Brasserie serves classic brasserie dishes with European influences – prepared to be shared or enjoyed alone. The atmosphere is social and relaxed. You are welcome whether you are here for a long dinner, a quick bite, or a late glass of wine.

We are now looking for a waiter who has a knack and passion for hospitality. You have a burning interest in food and drink and are either a trained sommelier or have extensive experience with wine and beverages.

What does your workday look like?

You will serve food and drinks to the restaurant's guests and, together with your colleagues in the dining room, you will work towards the goal of providing first-class service to all our guests.

Adjacent to Backstage Brasserie are also Backstage Bar, Backstage Café, and The Visitors Bistro. Together with our other units, each with its own character, the Brasserie contributes to a lively house with a wide variety of tasks. Here, collaboration and community are the keys to success, and no day is like the other.

• Recommend food and drinks to guests to enhance their experience

• Clear and set tables

Working hours are mostly scheduled for evenings and weekends. You report to the restaurant manager.

Who thrives here?

We are looking for someone who breathes service. You are outgoing and have a twinkle in your eye. You are flexible and appreciate a lot of variety in your work, and of course, you are a passionate food and drink enthusiast.

You have broad knowledge of wine, and it is advantageous if you have a sommelier education.

You can handle pace changes and are used to managing a high work tempo when the situation requires it. It is beneficial if you have previous experience in a seasonal business, and we see that you have at least two years of experience in the profession.

You need to be able to speak and write fluently in Swedish or English.

It is an advantage if you have completed STAD training.

You have an interest or previous experience in working towards climate and environmental goals. Cirkus Venues has been certified according to ISO 14001 since 2022, and we consider environmental impact in all aspects of our daily work.
