The principal area of Furuborg/Björkesta is now looking for an engaged and inspiring music teacher for a permanent position at 100%, where the position is shared between our two schools: Furuborg School and Björkesta School. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a creative and development-oriented environment together with students in grades 1-6 as well as students in our adapted primary school. As a music teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your music teaching based on current governing documents. You work to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students are given ample opportunity for participation, influence, and their own creativity.

Nykvarn Municipality is a Finnish administrative area, and we consider it an asset if you speak Finnish.

We require that you present a criminal record extract before employment.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a teaching license with qualifications in music for grades 1-6
• has a clear relational leadership style and the ability to build good, trusting relationships
• creates engaging and varied teaching where student participation is the focus
• is well-versed in the curriculum's goals and knowledge requirements
• is skilled at adapting teaching based on students' different conditions, needs, and knowledge levels
• wants to contribute to positive collaboration within the team and to the continued development of the schools

Meritorious:

• Experience in teaching in the adapted primary school
• Ability to use digital tools in teaching
