Internationella Engelska Skolan Enskede is a school for grades 4-9 with 900 students and 70 staff members. It is a school where teachers can focus on teaching, where students are given the opportunity to learn, and where everyone enjoys coming to school every day. All teachers have the enriching experience of being a class mentor. The school has an international orientation and instruction is conducted in both English and Swedish. The school strives to prioritize learning and knowledge. Students learn to take personal responsibility for their own development and learning environment and to respect their classmates, teachers, and themselves. IES takes pride in its staff and has developed a method to create a calm and safe school environment. This allows our teachers more time to share their knowledge, both with students and colleagues. Your own teaching as a teacher from Sweden will be in Swedish, but among colleagues, we speak English.
