Pershagenskolan is a F-9 school with approximately 450 students. The school is located in a picturesque setting close to forests, the sea, and nature reserves. You can easily reach the school by car, bus, or commuter train. At Pershagenskolan, we employ not only several certified teachers and preschool teachers but also special educators, school nurses, career counselors, social workers, and school leaders. We actively work with collegial learning to develop our staff and our school. Currently, there is a development project underway in our after-school program. A safe school environment throughout our students' entire school day, including lessons, breaks, and after-school activities, is important to us. A full-time position includes school collaboration as well as break activities.
We want you, as our applicant, to be a qualified primary school teacher for after-school care, preferably with a focus on sports, and have an interest in developing our after-school activities together with colleagues.
 

Your responsibilities

We now want to strengthen our after-school team with an additional primary school teacher for after-school care and are looking for someone who is a skilled and well-educated primary school teacher for after-school care, preferably with a sports focus. We seek someone who has a strong commitment and experience in enhancing the quality of the after-school program in accordance with LGR22. The teaching in the after-school program should stimulate our students' development and learning while offering them a meaningful leisure time. Our teaching should be based on our students' interests, but they should also be challenged and inspired to dare to try and learn new things. The position also includes school collaboration and break activities, and sports in a specific grade may be included.

Personal qualities:
-    You are professional in your role, engaged, take responsibility, and contribute your own ideas to our development work
-    You collaborate with your colleagues, are positive, and solution-focused
-    You have experience working with language development in after-school care
-    You easily create good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, your team, the school's student health team, and school management

Requirements:
-    Certified primary school teacher for after-school care
-    Well acquainted with the governing documents of after-school care
-    Experience in planning after-school care
-    You have a good ability to communicate and express yourself clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
-    Good computer skills

Meritorious:
-    Education in NPF and other functional variations
-    Leading and managing break activities
-    Training in low-arousal approaches
