Welcome to Rinkebyskolan! Rinkebyskolan's activities include grades 7-9 in primary school as well as adapted primary school for grades 1-9.

We have about 260 students and 90 dedicated staff members. Rinkebyskolan is located in Rinkeby, close to the green areas of Järvafältet. There are good transport links by bus and subway.

Your role

You will be offered a meaningful and fun job where you make a difference for our students. We are looking for someone who is present, engaged, professional, and accustomed to taking responsibility for students' learning and our compensatory mission within the school.

You will teach grades 7-9 in the subject of textile handicrafts and will be responsible for content, planning, implementation, evaluation, assessment, and grading, together with your craft colleagues as you will be part of a team of 4 craft teachers.

You will develop and drive projects with the students, be responsive to their needs, and create opportunities for them to influence the teaching. You will collaborate with other teachers and also be part of a working group.

You will participate in conferences and other activities required within the profession but will also have the opportunity to take part in the district's network related to your subject.

You have good collaboration skills, are relationship-building, and have a respectful and empathetic approach that is characterized by dialogue and participation in meetings with students and/or guardians as well as your colleagues. Mentorship may be included in the position.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in textile handicrafts.

  • create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
  • see the importance of collegial learning
  • contribute to good collaboration
  • plan and organize your work with good structure, you have high expectations of the students and you involve them in the entire craft process, from planning to final product. You develop the students' ability to learn, both independently and together with others.
  • see each student and their needs and create a good learning environment for the student in and outside the classroom, preferably have experience and knowledge of NPF.
