About this vacancy

IES Enskede is looking for a special educator who wants to contribute to strengthening the important work of student health starting in August 2026.

We at IES Enskede are now looking for a driven special educator with an interest in supporting students' academic development and finding creative solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the school's SEN team and driving the development of special educational support in the various working teams.

Who are you?

• You need to be fluent in both spoken and written English and Swedish
• You are a qualified special educator with experience working in primary school
• You are detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy the role of team leader
• You have experience working in middle and high school
• You are passionate about development and a collegial working approach
• You have knowledge of and share the values and ethos of Internationella Engelska Skolan

As a special educator, you primarily work with:

• students and children's development and learning in relation to work and approaches to teaching
• work with extra adjustments, special support, pedagogical investigations, and action programs from a holistic perspective
• participating in and leading qualified discussions and special educational change work
• participating in the quality work of the organization through follow-up and evaluation

You will be part of a team where there is already a special teacher. Your work consists of guidance, support, and stimulation, and you will also be part of the school's student health team.

In your role as a special educator, you enjoy investigating students' needs and can express these well in written documentation and conversations. You collaborate well with colleagues, students, and parents and are solution-oriented.
