About us

Hedvigsgården is a dementia care facility with 40 places spread over five pavilions. In two of our pavilions, we offer care and support for Finnish speakers. The residence is certified according to the Silviahemmet care philosophy.

About the position

Our task is to provide our users with a meaningful, safe, and active everyday life. We work based on each user's individual needs. Your mission is to motivate, provide good care, and support the user in their daily life. Your work includes being a contact person, which means you build a trusting relationship with users and their relatives.

You are also the link between the user and other staff. You will establish implementation plans and maintain ongoing social documentation. You will administer medication as delegated by a nurse.

With us, you will work on a scheduled basis with shifts every other weekend.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for you who:

• Have completed education that corresponds to the qualifications of a nursing assistant, or another education that we assess as equivalent.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in care work with people with dementia within elderly care.
• Previous experience in documentation work as it is an important part of the job.
• Experience using a computer as a tool in your work.

As a person, you are collaborative and solution-oriented, with an ability to work well with others and manage and solve problems that arise. We also see that you have a strong customer focus, where you meet our users' individual needs in a service-oriented manner.
