About the position

The Pediatric Ward 9 in Solna is an inpatient ward where we care for children and adolescents aged 0-18 years. Our largest patient flows are in infections, cardiology, endocrinology and metabolic diseases, respiratory and allergic diseases, as well as ear, nose, and throat diseases.

We work family-centered, which means that parents and siblings are naturally included in the care. We have, among other things, a university nurse specializing in children's rights and trained children's rights representatives who help monitor the rights of children and young people within healthcare. We also have close collaboration with other departments in the hospital, such as social workers, our clowns, the Hospital School, and Play Therapy.

Our goal is for everyone in the team to have the opportunity to participate in how care is provided to make it as good as possible for our patients. We continuously work on patient safety issues, work environment, and the development of our various nursing areas.

In addition to regular nursing duties, a specialization area is included.

We are looking for someone who

• is good with other people and can relate to them in a responsive, empathetic, and smooth manner
• listens, communicates, and resolves conflicts while ensuring that messages are conveyed and that expectations are clear for all parties involved
• has a good understanding of how different people absorb knowledge and adapts the way you convey your message to the recipient accordingly
• is self-driven and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Licensed nurse with specialist training in pediatric and adolescent nursing

Meritorious:

Experience in inpatient pediatric care and the ward's various patient flows
