Blomsterfonden is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that the elderly have a safe home, professional care, and a meaningful everyday life.

We operate five senior residences with vibrant social communities, our own home care services, and four nursing homes where safe care is the focus. Our goal is to provide elderly people with a richer life – filled with community, compassion, and joy. Our work is guided by our ethical values: humanity, participation, clarity, and honesty.

The association was founded in 1921 by Alma Hedin. Under her leadership, a special spirit emerged – the Blomsterfonden spirit – which still characterizes our operations today. We continue Alma's work by cherishing what is at the core of every human life: recognizing the individual's capacity, will, and emotional life.

Blomsterfonden also actively works to support relatives. We organize and participate in various forums to spread knowledge about the needs and life situations of the elderly.

Care Assistants for Home Care – Day, Evening, and Weekend

We are looking for committed and responsible care assistants for our home care services in northern Stockholm. The work is based at Blomsterfonden's senior residence in Svalnäs but covers areas in Danderyd, Stocksund, Mörby, Enebyberg, and Djursholm.

With us, you work closely with our care recipients and contribute to creating safety, dignity, and good quality of life in their daily lives.

About the position

Work in home care involves providing individually tailored care and service in the care recipient's home. Tasks include personal care, support in daily activities, social support, and service measures according to care decisions.

Our operations are conducted in several areas, which means that work is done on foot, by bicycle, or by car depending on distance and schedule planning.

The positions include work during the day, evening, and weekend according to a schedule.

There is an opportunity for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and support in daily life
• Service measures such as simple household tasks
• Create safety, continuity, and respectful interactions
• Documentation according to applicable legislation and organizational routines
• Correct handling of digital systems, including receipts and visit logs
• Collaboration with colleagues, coordinators, and other professionals

Qualifications

• Trained care assistant
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare required
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Driver's license (B) is a requirement
• Experience in home care or elderly care is an advantage

Other requirements

• A background check must be submitted before employment begins
• Proof of education must be provided
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for quality in care
