Welcome to Skärholmen's Midwifery Clinic!
Skärholmen's Midwifery Clinic is now looking for a midwife for summer and parental leave cover starting in June until November 2027.
At the clinic, there are 5 independent midwives. The clinic manager is responsible for two of BMM Stockholm South's midwifery clinics. We work from a holistic perspective on the individual, focusing on creating security for our patients and their relatives through high availability, participation, and continuity. You will always have a colleague to consult with, and we have working methods that promote good quality and high safety for both patients and staff.
We are looking for someone who, like us, is curious, engaged, responsible, confident in their role as a midwife, and has a good ability to work both independently and in a team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period, so do not wait to submit your application.
The work at the midwifery clinic is varied. We work with pregnancy checks, contraceptive counseling, STI testing, gynecological cytology, telephone counseling, and various types of parenting support. We have both physical and digital patient visits.
Skärholmen is a multicultural area where we work with patients from many different cultures and parts of the world. The midwifery clinic is located in Skärholmen center, easily accessible by subway, bus, or car. We are located at Storholmsgatan 3, Skärholmen.
Organizationally, we belong to BMM Stockholm South, which is a midwife-led results unit within SLSO consisting of 14 midwifery clinics. We work patient-centered based on the values of the Stockholm County Council (SLSO) with a focus on the patient, equal rights for all, and joy at work.

Experience and Qualifications:
- We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights.
- Experience working in a midwifery clinic.
- Familiarity with the medical record systems Obstetrix and Takecare.
Employment Form:
Full-time, part-time can be discussed. Summer position from June to August transitioning into a parental leave cover until November 2027.
We offer onboarding, and the duration varies based on your previous experiences.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County healthcare area:
- background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
