About the Position

We are looking for an economist for a public sector organization in Gothenburg. In this role, you will work broadly with financial issues and provide support to the organization in economic matters. The tasks include budget work, forecasts, financial analyses, and closing work for monthly and quarterly periods. You will also be responsible for account reconciliations and handling various forms of financial administration. The role involves close collaboration with the organization where you contribute with financial support and follow-up.

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position as an economist for a public sector organization in Gothenburg is a full-time consulting assignment starting no later than March 30, preferably as soon as possible. The assignment is expected to last until September 2026.

Requirements for the Position:

• Completed university or college education in economics, or other education deemed relevant for the position.
• At least 2–3 years of experience working with budget and forecasting.
• Experience in financial follow-up.
• Experience in closing work.

Meritorious for the Position:

• Experience with the business system Agresso/Unit4 and/or Hypergene.
