Description

The Diocese of Gothenburg is seeking a coordinator for a temporary position in the Congregational Support unit.

The role involves coordinating courses, training, and events, as well as providing administrative support to case officers and managers. As a coordinator, you will be part of the Service team and contribute to the planning, implementation, and development of the operations together with colleagues in the diocesan office.

Responsibilities

As a coordinator, you will work with planning, coordination, and administration of courses, training, and events within the diocese. This includes handling registrations in booking systems, booking conference facilities, and maintaining contact with suppliers and partners. You will provide administrative support to case officers and managers and participate in the planning and execution of larger events and diocesan activities.

The work also involves:

• producing and administering the competence catalog
• administering bookings in systems such as Trippus or Grade
• requesting quotes and booking conference facilities
• booking hotels and travel for guests and speakers
• handling other bookings and orders related to the operations
• coordinating events such as staff gatherings and the bishop's priest and deacon day
• maintaining contact with suppliers and partners, including the study association Sensus

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with administrative competence who enjoys a role where you coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.

You have:

• at least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in the public sector
• good familiarity with Microsoft 365 and administrative IT systems, such as booking systems
• excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• high school qualifications, and a post-secondary administrative education is an advantage

Experience with the Church of Sweden's operations and organization is an advantage.

You are a member of the Church of Sweden and have a driver's license.

The Diocese of Gothenburg encompasses Bohuslän, Halland, and the western part of Västergötland. The diocesan office has centrally located offices in Gothenburg, Uddevalla, and Halmstad. The diocese's mission is to promote and supervise congregational life and administration in parishes and pastorates.
