Social Worker for the Domestic Violence Unit (ERV)

Are you interested in working in the field of domestic violence? There is a position available at the Domestic Violence Unit (ERV) where we are currently seeking a social worker.

Your new job

At ERV, we focus on the citizen, and important perspectives for us are to highlight the consequences of violence, both for adults and children, and to provide hope that it is possible to break free from violence. The starting point for the work is the Social Services Act and the special responsibility to offer support and assistance to change one's situation. We address the target groups of victims of violence, individuals who perpetrate violence, individuals who purchase sexual services (KAST), and those who sell sexual services (MIKA).

The unit consists of a reception, an investigation unit, and outpatient care. We have eight social workers and five therapists. The unit also employs a lead social worker responsible for the daily work of social workers and a coordinator responsible for outpatient care, a unit manager, and an administrator.

Your qualifications

You are a qualified social worker. Experience in previous work with authority in the field of domestic violence is an advantage. Experience within social services with similar tasks is also advantageous. You find it easy to collaborate with different stakeholders. We also place great importance on personal suitability. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.

Welcome to us

The Domestic Violence Unit (ERV) is located at Sofiahuset, centrally in Jönköping, and is organizationally placed within the adult division of social services.

We offer you as an employee a 7-hour workday with work scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday, individual salary setting, and supervision. You will have close collaboration with the unit's lead social worker and unit manager.

Good to know

We are looking for a full-time social worker, with start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday.

In your application, we would like you to include a CV as well as attached diploma and current employment certificates. All your employment must be verifiable with certificates indicating position and the extent of your work. Even if you already work with us, you need to present diplomas and employment certificates for positions you have held outside the municipality.
