At the prison, approximately 400 employees and 20 managers manage, lead, and develop the operations. The largest professional group is correctional officers, but the prison also employs administrative staff, educators, production leaders, service technicians, etc. The prison accommodates just over 350 inmates who are engaged in activities such as education, treatment programs, other structured activities, or in the prison's work operations.

At Hall, we prioritize a health-promoting work environment and offer, among other things, a staff gym to use during breaks and also in your free time. There are also nearby exercise trails. You can walk or run in the area right next to Hallfjärden and also have access to a sports hall, recovery room with a massage chair, and library.

To reach the prison, located just outside Södertälje, you can take a bus from Östertälje. If you drive, you can park for free in our staff parking lot. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The prison's HR department is a support function for the prison management and all employees. As the prison has grown, the work has taken on an even more central role as the need for support to the departments and coordination has become increasingly important.

Your tasks will primarily consist of administration, coordination, planning, and follow-up within the HR area with the aim of achieving the operational goals, maintaining a good work environment, enabling present leadership, and working for uniformity within the operational area. You will work at the local level with resource management and staffing, schedule and vacation planning, handling employment contracts and personnel records, training administration, wellness, and employee-promoting arrangements. The work includes contacts and cooperation with both managers and staff in other professional groups primarily within the prison but also within the authority as a whole.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who collaborates well with others, is proactive, and has the ability to deliver solutions and support where needed. You communicate clearly, work systematically by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively, set and adhere to deadlines, and consider the overall perspective.

You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service considers relevant.
• Experience in personnel and staffing planning.
• Good experience working with the Heroma system.
• Good experience with the Office suite.
• Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Work experience from the core operations of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.
• Good knowledge of laws and agreements (labor law, working time regulations, policies, etc.).
• Experience with state collective agreements.
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
