Care Assistants Wanted at Gredby Home Care

Do you want to contribute to safety, joy, and quality of life for our clients in their own homes? Then this position may be for you. Gredby Home Care is looking for two care assistants to strengthen our team. The positions are temporary with an immediate start and will last until 10/1 2027.

Gredby Home Care operates in the area between Tunavallen and Brottsta, with assignments in both apartment areas and residential neighborhoods. You will start from our shared facilities in Gredby, which is about a 20-minute walk from the train station. The workgroup consists of 20 employees, a group leader, and a unit manager. We work closely together and have a strong commitment and desire to provide the best possible care together.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant in home care, you provide personal care and support to clients in their daily life situations and homes. You collaborate with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and relatives to provide safe and coordinated support. You are a primary care contact, receive delegation of health and medical tasks, and document your work. We work with digital methods where you document in Viva and sign in Appva.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and is passionate about making a difference for our elderly. It is a plus if you have experience working in elderly care. Experience with documentation is a requirement, preferably in Viva. Receiving delegation is a prerequisite for the job, as is the ability to work days, evenings, and every other weekend on schedule. You should be willing to cycle, and having a driver's license is a strong advantage.

You are engaged and responsible, with the ability to take initiative in your work. You are driven to develop and improve the operations and have a flexible attitude that allows you to adapt easily to different situations. You communicate well and build good relationships with both clients and colleagues. Working in a structured manner and being able to adapt to individual needs is a given for you.

As part of the recruitment process, a language test will be conducted. We will also ask you to provide an extract from the police criminal record before employment.
