About Us

The Anesthesia Clinic is a high-tech, dynamic, and development-oriented clinic. It is the largest service clinic in the county and includes Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna (MSE) and Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm (KSK). The core mission of the Anesthesia Clinic consists of surgical care and intensive care.

Kullbergska Hospital is the county's production unit for planned surgical care with five operating rooms used on weekdays, not evenings or weekends. The operational activities include surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, and a smaller part of eye/dental/accessory activities. The Anesthesia Clinic also staffs an on-call service at home that primarily consults and supports the emergency services and intermediate care at Kullbergska Hospital. Regular intensive care is not conducted at Kullbergska Hospital, making the logistics of transporting these patients a central function for the Anesthesia Clinic.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a licensed anesthesiologist with solid experience in clinical anesthesia and intensive care. We have many ST doctors who want additional role models in the specialist/senior physician category. An interest in teaching is appreciated as all staff members at the clinic value this quality. The position being advertised is primarily for Kullbergska Hospital.
