About the organization Kry Health Center Nyköping is a small but growing health center with about 5,000 registered patients, located in the heart of Nyköping's harbor. We work on behalf of Region Sörmland and have a clear focus on quality, continuity, and a good working environment.

We work in a team-based manner, which creates close collaboration between professions and good opportunities for knowledge exchange. At the health center, there are several specialists in general medicine who are highly engaged in supervision and residency training, providing you with a stable and secure foundation throughout your residency.

We have a well-developed team with:

• specialist nurses in asthma/COPD, heart failure, and diabetes

• memory team and coordinating nurse

• access to laboratory, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, rehabilitation coordinator

• psychologists digitally

• nursing assistants and medical secretaries

• and child health services

On-call work

Together with other health centers in southern Sörmland, we staff the primary care on-call service (9 AM - 9 PM) at the Åsidan health center during weekends and holidays. Emergency on-call services are staffed by specialists in general medicine and experienced residents nearing the end of their training, providing a safe and educational on-call environment.

About the role As a resident physician with us, you will have a varied and stimulating outpatient work with both acute and planned patient visits. You will meet patients with a wide range of reasons for seeking care and work closely with the entire team at the health center.

Qualifications & qualities

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician and want to do your residency in general medicine. You have a genuine patient focus, a professional and empathetic approach, and the ability to prioritize in everyday life. Collaboration skills are important, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement.

Employment form

Permanent employment, 100%. Start date by agreement.
