Communication Technician with Placement in Vidsel

Main Responsibilities

As a communication technician with us, you will work together with other technicians to carry out the operation and maintenance of the airport's air traffic control systems, meteorological systems, radar systems, power supply systems, etc.

This means you will receive a broad technical education in areas such as data, telecommunications, and radar/radio systems. You will also receive training in flight safety so that you can perform your work safely. Training is conducted both locally and at other locations through central schools or in collaboration with the industry.

In addition, we also participate in material and system development, and follow-up of technical documentation together with the defense industry.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Approved high school education
• Good computer skills
• Driving license B (manual transmission)

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for someone who is technically interested and has the ability to absorb new knowledge, both theoretically and practically, is service-oriented and proactive. You should have good computer skills and be able to work flexibly and at different paces to handle both varying tasks and workloads. You have the ability to work both independently, where you are responsible for solving your own tasks, as well as in a team. Since the position may involve tasks as an instructor but also collaboration with various contacts within the Armed Forces, we expect you to have good communication skills.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious:

• BE, CE driving license.
• High school education in a technical program or equivalent.
• Completed military basic training.
• Post-secondary education in Electrical/Telecommunications/IT.
• Currently working or have worked within the Armed Forces.
