You will play a central role in an organization within higher education and research where the network infrastructure is business-critical for both daily operations and long-term development. The assignment combines ongoing management with participation in projects related to changes in the campus environment, allowing you to work both operationally and strategically.

You will be part of the delivery team for networks and also serve as an important representative for IT in matters concerning network infrastructure. This means you will contribute to technical decisions, monitor the organization's needs, and maintain a clear dialogue with both internal and external parties. The environment demands high stability, availability, and good structure, and all documentation is done in Swedish.

• Manage the network environment in daily delivery work.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot network solutions in production environments with high availability requirements.
• Participate in change work within the network, such as migrations, modernizations, and development of campus networks.
• Contribute to technical decisions regarding routing, switching, wireless networks, firewalls, and network security.
• Represent the IT organization in projects and ensure that network-related needs and strategic decisions are taken into account.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and work systematically with documentation in Swedish.

• You have documented experience working in a network environment in larger organizations.
• You have documented experience in routing and switching in larger networks within LAN/WAN.
• You have documented experience with firewalls and network security.
• You have documented experience with wireless networks in an enterprise environment.
• You have experience in operation, management, and troubleshooting in production environments with high availability requirements.
• You have experience with change work in network environments, such as migrations, modernizations, and work with campus networks.
• You have basic knowledge of information security.
• You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

• Experience with products from Cisco and Fortinet.
• Experience with VPN solutions, firewall administration, ZTNA, and NAC.
• Familiarity with university environments.

• Permanent employment with Avaron AB
• Pension plan (4.5% up to 7.5 IBB and 30% on salary above that)
• Wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK per year
