Job Description

We are investing for the future and looking for engaged nursing assistants who are interested in working with children. As a nursing assistant in the children and youth department, you will work in a team with your nursing assistant and nurse colleagues. You will also have close collaboration with other professionals within the clinic, from doctors to play therapists. You will have a developing job where no two days are alike. Your tasks include basic care, sampling, monitoring vital parameters, and handling medical technical equipment.

The children and youth department is an exciting workplace where you will meet children and adolescents aged 0-18 years with medical, surgical, and orthopedic conditions. We work with child-friendly care and have a strong focus on quality and improvement work.

With us, you will receive a safe introduction as a nursing assistant in the department. In addition to your introduction in the children and youth department, you will also have the opportunity to shadow other parts of the clinic to get to know the entire pediatric clinic. You will quickly become part of the team as we actively work for a good working environment.

We also offer you the opportunity to be introduced to the pediatric emergency department to alternate between the children and youth department and the pediatric emergency department.

About You

You are a trained nursing assistant. It is an advantage if you have worked with children or have experience in emergency care.

You have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive working environment with your positive attitude. You are meticulous and quality-conscious and willing to contribute to the development of the operation. As a person, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You communicate a lot with patients, relatives, and colleagues, so good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is required. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
